The Chronicle of the Flying Immortal Sword: Katyusha and the Dance of the Flying Immortal Sword Legend

In the vast river of games, there are often some characters who, like a dragon swimming under the bright moon, rarely appear but are always eagerly anticipated. Recently, with the upcoming release of version 2.4 of “Singing Tide,” a new character named Kathrynhia is about to debut. She is an aero character who wields the Fairy Sword with grace. Every strike and slash of hers seems to carry the elegance of Cloud Yao’s dance and the clarity of moonlight, inspiring admiration in all who behold her.
Kathrynhia is a 5-star character with the attribute of wind. Armed with the Fairy Sword, her attacks are as swift as the wind, and her movements are as light as a swallow. Her HP is 77.0%, which is average, but her attack power is outstanding, with a base attack of 413, which is impressive. Her skill set is intricate yet elegant, much like a captivating melody, requiring players to master the rhythm to unlock her full potential.
The Fairy Sword, named after Kathrynhia, has a base attack of 413 and increases HP by 12%. At R1, after casting a variation skill or a normal attack, it ignores 8% of the target’s defense. When the target has more than one layer of wind erosion effect, the damage dealt increases by 20%. Although it may not surpass the “Sword of the Sage of West Lake,” it still possesses a certain divine charm, especially when facing enemies with multiple layers of wind erosion, where its damage output becomes significantly more powerful, much like a chess master strategically planning each move.
Kathrynhia’s skill system is complex and fascinating. She has two forms: Kathrynhia and Florudice. The Florudice form is activated when Kathrynhia’s resonance energy is full, and players can switch to this form by pressing the resonance button. In Florudice form, Kathrynhia’s attack style and skills change, and she gains enhanced effects, much like a martial arts master who can switch techniques at will, making it difficult for enemies to anticipate her moves.
Her normal attacks consist of four strikes, each dealing aero damage and applying wind erosion effects. The fourth strike adds two layers of wind erosion and summons a “Shadow of the Divine Sword.” Her charged attacks also add two layers of wind erosion and summon a “Shadow of the Strange Sword.” Her aerial attacks recall all the sword shadows on the field and enhance the damage and range of her descending attack based on the number of shadows, while also granting different buffs. This is akin to a dancer moving gracefully to the rhythm of music.
Kathrynhia’s resonance skill is called “This Sword in the Name of Man,” which applies two layers of wind erosion and summons a “Shadow of the Human Sword.” In Florudice form, her resonance skill changes to “This Sword with the Will of the Tide,” summoning a gravity field at the target location that pulls enemies in and deals damage while granting determination. In Florudice form, pressing the resonance skill again summons a massive sword shadow to fall and deal damage, much like a master catching enemies off guard.
Her resonance burst is called “Listen to the Knight’s Sincere Wish,” transforming her into Florudice and granting a 60% increase in aero damage. She enters a manifestation state that lasts for 12 seconds. During this state, Florudice’s attacks accumulate determination, and when determination reaches 120 points, she can unleash her resonance burst, “See the Tide’s Angry Roar,” recovering 70% of her HP and dealing significant damage to enemies.
