Dancing Blade: Echoes of the Wind Goddess

“Resonance”: Kathisia, the Agile Goddess Dancing Between Sword and Wind
In the world of “Resonance”, where the sea breeze erodes the land, a mysterious goddess is about to make her debut. She is Kathisia, a name that carries the breath of the wind, as if a refreshing breeze could arrive at any moment. Kathisia is not merely a simple swordsman but a being who has perfectly fused with the wind element, making her the true Goddess of the Wind.
Imagine this: when Kathisia swings her sword, what you see is not just an ordinary blade but a series of shadowy illusions floating in the air. These sword illusions are not mere decorations; they are the core of her combat. Whenever she performs a basic attack, heavy strike, or resonance skill, these illusions appear on the battlefield. Moreover, they are absorbed during her descending attacks, transforming into powerful additional damage. This mechanism makes her combat style full of variation and playfulness.
In Kathisia’s world, there are three distinct types of sword illusions: the divine right sword illusion, the human right sword illusion, and the aberrant right sword illusion. Each attack summons the corresponding sword illusion, and these illusions are not static; they are absorbed during her descending attacks, converting into formidable additional damage. This design gives her combat style both strategic depth and dynamic aesthetics.
When the resonance energy reaches its maximum value, Kathisia transforms into “Fleurdeis.” This is a mysterious transformation that brings a new dimension to her combat. In Fleurdeis form, each type of sword illusion present on the battlefield grants her different enhancement effects. This transformation not only introduces a fresh combat style but also fundamentally changes her fighting rhythm.
In Fleurdeis form, Kathisia’s health is reduced to 50% of its maximum value, but she gains a 60% increase in wind damage. This seemingly disadvantageous transformation, however, opens up greater possibilities for her combat. Every attack accumulates “resolve,” and when resolve reaches 120 points, she can unleash her powerful resonance release skill, “Cyclone Blade of Furious Tides.”
This resonance release not only restores 70% of her health but also deals massive wind damage to all enemies in a straight-line range. The damage increases by 20% for each layer of wind erosion effect consumed, up to a maximum of five layers. This makes the skill her most devastating attack in combat.
During battles, Kathisia’s variable skill, “This Sword, for the Past of the Tides,” plays a crucial role. Whether summoning aberrant right sword illusions in Kathisia form or gaining resolve through piercing attacks in Fleurdeis form, this skill is indispensable in her combat arsenal.
Her prolongation skill, “Listen to the Tides Sing Your Blessings,” provides additional damage amplification to other party members. When other party members deal damage to enemies with abnormal statuses, the damage increases by 17.5%. This skill becomes particularly vital in team coordination.
In terms of attribute enhancements, Kathisia’s health and critical hit rate have been significantly boosted. Her health increases by 1.80%/4.20%, and her critical hit rate by 1.20%/2.80%. These foundational attribute enhancements make her combat more stable and powerful.
Her innate skills, “Woven Vows with the Heart” and “Wind Etched Erosions,” further enhance her combat capabilities. After triggering the prolongation skill, the healing effects of the party increase by 20%, and if the “Wanderer” is in the party, an additional enhancement is granted, further solidifying her role as a versatile and dynamic combatant.
