"The process is fascinating," says Joe. "I find that listening critically to someone else's song makes me more aware of the same elements of my own material. It's also fun to hear what's new, as well as to be able to offer a helping hand. So much of the creative process can be very isolating, and it's good to be able to get (and give) constructive advice on songwriting."
